India’s Agri-Food Export Showcase Shines at Gulfood Dubai 2026; CAMPCO Among 161 Exhibitors

Dubai, UAE — January 27, 2026 — India has made a powerful impression at the Gulfood 2026 International Food & Beverage Expo in Dubai, with a strong delegation of agricultural and food exporters including CAMPCO (The Central Arecanut & Cocoa Marketing & Processing Cooperative Limited) participating alongside 160 other Indian companies.

The event, recognized as the world’s largest food sourcing trade show, is being held at Expo City Dubai, marking a significant platform for India to deepen its engagement with global markets and strengthen agri-food exports. India is participating as the Partner Country for the first time in Gulfood’s 31-year history, a milestone that highlights the nation’s growing influence in the global agricultural value chain.

Massive Representation from Across India

Led by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the Indian pavilion spans a substantial exhibition space and features 161 exhibitors from 25 states and regions. These include exporters, farmer-producer organisations, cooperatives, startups, state government agencies, and national institutions showcasing a wide range of agricultural and food products.

The displays cover processed foods, fresh produce, frozen items, cereals, pulses, beverages, spices, value-added products, and organic offerings, reflecting India’s diverse food ecosystem and export readiness.

CAMPCO and Cooperative Participation

Among the key Indian participants is CAMPCO, which is exhibiting its range of products at the event, reinforcing the presence of farmer-led cooperatives on the global export stage. Representatives from CAMPCO have already reached Dubai, where they are engaging with international buyers and industry stakeholders to explore trade and collaboration opportunities.

Focus on Global Trade and Strategic Partnerships

India’s debut as Partner Country underscores its strategic role in global food trade, facilitated in part by the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which has boosted market access and export momentum for Indian agricultural goods.

In addition to large and established exporters, the pavilion also spotlights innovative agritech startups, chosen from a competitive pool to present cutting-edge solutions and export-ready technologies that support India’s “Farm to Foreign” vision.

Strengthening Buyer-Seller Linkages

The Gulfood platform is being used to foster meaningful business connections, encourage investment in food processing infrastructure, and enhance long-term trade agreements — all aimed at consolidating India’s position as a trusted global supplier of agricultural products.

The exhibition runs through January 30, 2026, and is drawing business leaders, government delegations, and buyers from across Middle East, Africa, Europe, and beyond.
